News Flash: Klommo dies .............. again.

Stop killing the little guy off people.  Hasn't he had enough?  After dieing on a raid for the twelfth time, hes starting to give even rangers a bad name.  It appears Snootchie has taken him under his wing and has been teaching him bad tricks.  What ever happened to the ranger kite? Snare, run and fire? This appears lost on the little ranger.  Please leave donations for Klommo's summoning orbs in the lobby.

Dmadman gets Angry .............. again.

After many requests Dmadman has now taken to using an audio trigger to use the washroom.  It appears that his wife has to constantly chide him to take a shower and stop his dependence on adult diapers.  Dmadman's wife has now added this audio trigger to his computer to keep him updated.  In defiance to his wife, Dmadman is now taking donations so he can purchase a laptop so he never has to leave the toilet seat. 

Gamlik falls asleep at his keyboard ............... again.

Third night in a row now that Gamlik has fallen asleep at the keyboard.  Now permanently forged on his forehead is the word "SPACE" (as in the space bar).  As a small joke, we have contacted his wife and asked her to add the line "For Rent" on the rest of his forehead.  We have asked Dmadman to add an audio file to Gamliks computer that will scream like a little child every 30 minutes to keep him awake.  Hopefully this will help Gamliks tanking so he doesn't fall asleep mid pull and bring down the entire group.  On a side note just the other day Gamliks afk for apparently 5 minutes to get something from across the street turned into an half hour ordeal.  After a half hour Hiatus, he returned to voice chat out of breath and exhausted.  I have no idea how large the streets are in his home city, but I hope that it never takes me 30 minutes to cross a road.

Welcome to the 4th Edition of The Odium Times.

Many new changes have occurred since our last edition.  The first big change is, Soulit has taken over doing DKP.  This has helped leadership immensely.  The dkp has been audited to make sure it was accurate.  A few small changes were made, but people were notified of their changes.

Thank you so much for your service, Tedahmeister, Werin, and Jobo.  You have all been great class leaders and it will be difficult to fill your shoes!  We appreciate your service to the guild, and hope that you will all be successful in your future endeavors.

This leaves openings in the following areas...

Officers: None

We have a new addition to the raid team.  Thank you Lancia for stepping up when you are needed as an alternate raid leader.

Odium's raiding has been excellent we have moved into Demi and we are doing excellent.  Tentative raid schedule is:

  OCT
 Mondays
    Farm CoA
    Get as many 2.0 globes as possible
    *Add Epic and OoW mobs to target list
       
  Wednesdays
    DoN Progression
    Epic raids
    MMM/Crystallos Raids
    TSS Quests for faction and access to raids

  Fridays
    Work DSK(Demi) Events
    Work on learning DK(ToB) Events

This is not a set schedule, just ideas on things we will be doing in the near future.

Azlen has kindly agreed to take over the Odium Times and I am thrilled that he has done it!!!  Grats to Azlen.  His resume includes being a sports journalist, and writing reports for other websites.  Please submit all articles and items that need to be reported, to Azlen and he will make sure that it gets in our twice monthly edition.  A big grats to Azlen and a huge thank you!

The Odium times has become somewhat of a quarterly edition here, I would like to fix that so if anyone is interested in being our guild reporter please let me know. 

A lot has changed in the guild since the last edition of the times.

We have a few new officers:
Tsiah, who has been put in charge of epics for us!
Darcaldi: Who is now in charge of raid schedule, raid leaders, and dkp!
Yinamina is not a new officer, but she has a new position as officer in charge of class leaders.
Pudan has taken over for Aazi as officer in charge of Tradeskillers and Crafted Items requests.  We are sad to see Aazi go, but so excited to have Pudan on board.

We also have a few new class leaders:
Monk: Damig
Necro: Wrathnar
Warrior: Tedahmeister

Grats to all of you and welcome to our team.  We are so excited to have you aboard in your new positions.

Odium has made great strides in the last couple of months.  We had many get keyed for MMM and Crystallos and both of those zones have been farmed a lot, as well as breaking into Demi Plane of Blood and doing quite well in there.  Anguish has been put on farm status on Monday nights, and Demi is on Friday nights.  Wednesday is always a wild card, having done DON dragons, Shyra, and Epics.  This last week we went into Time and cleared it in three hours.  We have made excellent strides indeed.

Many of you have worked really hard to help your guildies get keyed and flagged and geared, we appreciate it so much!

Odium is still on a recruitment freeze for the time being, but that is subject to change at a moment's notice so please keep an eye out and always remember if you have friends and family members all you have to do is let us know.
